The three applications I actually use nearly every day are:

1) Ascendo Datavault

2) xTemplate (free) - because I own a business and constantly send form letters out and I needed template/boilerplate software. I use it daily. Works great for freeware. Doesn't work quite as well as Mobylo Quickresponse, but Mobylo wont answer my many emails concerning upgrading from my Curve, so screw them.

3) Beyond411 (free) - because it is one of the best "Yellow Pages" out there.

Request to mods - could we make this thread a sticky? We could make the title a list of all the apps similar to the latest beta versions thread.

Thanks!

Any ETA on this new version? Are all new versions free upgrades? I owned Beejive on the iPhone and loved it, but really like having things show up in Messages on the BB. Haven't bought Beejive for my Bold yet because of that.

Blackberry does have a somewhat limited "app store"

mobile.blackberry.com

It doesn't have everything but they have a good start.

I have used these for a long time and they are the first I load:

Blackberry411
Worldmate Live (love the clock feature)
AIM

New stuff I really dig:

Nobex radio companion
Flycast
SitorSquat
Xberry Live!

FYI:
xTemplate is not free for this moment but very cheap (4.95 USD). Nevertheless it has some new features which make this price suitable.
New features:
- Emoticons support
- Working with SMS compose screen support

GPSed works perfect on BlackBerry.
With the application you can track trips from your mobile device and store them in an online archive: trace the tracks on Google maps and pin photos to a map.

Voice Recorder with a voice sharing tool for Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Blogger.com in one app. You can send voice emails and share your voice to social networks for playing back on any Mac, PC or mobile.

IM+ for Skype - a fully mobile application for text communication with other Skype users and cost-effective calling to landlines and mobiles.
