Default Can't add email to 8703....

Please Login to Remove!

I've added a hotmail account to my Verizon 8703 but can't add an MSN email. I get a message telling me to contact the email account provider.

Does anybody know what this is about? Essentially hotmail and MSN emails accounts are the same....or so I thought.

Any help is appreciated.

You may need to enter the server details manually. msn should have it somehwere in one of their help pages.
Also, not sure but you may also need to set msn to pop access.

Default hotmail-msn email account

If it is a free email account - you may not be able to add the account - it does not support this feature.

I could not add my free netzero email account.

Hope it helps

Some older MSN and Hotmail accounts can be set up and work, but I believe with the newer accounts you will need the premium accounts in order for it to work.

I would suggest a free GMail or Yahoo! e-mail account. These accounts are not only free, but they offer synching of the deleted items between the account and the BlackBerry.
