I think I'm having an issue with my MDS logging, but I'm not sure. A little info...
My
rimpublic.property file (located in \MDS\Servers\BES1\config) contains the following:
Code:
[Logging]
Logging.ntevent.log.level=2
Logging.console.log.level=4
Logging.file.log.level=4
Logging.locale.language=en
[HTTP HANDLER]
application.handler.http.logging=true
application.handler.http.header=email,pin
Since the http.logging section was added, the BES
has been restarted (more than once). So, I go to my \MDS\Servers\BES1\logs folder. In there, I see only one thing -- another folder, called "webserver". Inside this folder there are a bunch of text files.
MDS_web_access_log.(date).txt and
MDS_web_log.(date).txt.
The problem: The "MDS_web_access_log" files are all empty (0kb right down the line). The other problem: both sets of files only go as recent as March 12, 2007. This was actually before we turned the MDS HTTP logging on. The "MDS_web_log" files don't appear to contain anything useful, it looks more like system/diagnostic logging. There is no information about users and the websites they are accessing.
Can anyone think of what the problem is? Other logging (like SMS, PIN, and Phone) are all working. It looks like it's just the MDS end of things that doesn't appear to be cooperating.
