Hello everyone, please forgive me for I am new and might be asking for the obvious - but I did research and saw responses about getting the call log history from the carrier.

Here's my situation: Work for large company and they host their own BES. I have tried myself getting the call log from the carrier, but it is registered under the company and the company receives a bill which covers all employees that use that provider.

Is there a way for my IT department to extract specific numbers that were inbound/outbound from the server with a script/cmd for my phone number? If yes, can you please provide the cmd script that IT will need to run against the server. If not, what suggestion or direction can you point me or IT to in extracting call log history/missed calls from the *.idp backup files. I have used Berry Extract to extract the SMS messages from the blackberry, however, the software is unable to extract the missed phone calls.

Any suggestion is appreciated and welcomed. Apologize in advance for being unable to locate the code for IT to run against the server in order to extract and isolate my information from the rest of the employees for a specific date range.

You really need to get this from the carrier. I would recommend asking the person at your company that administers your account to request the log from your carrier.

Thank you for the carrier suggestion. I had requested the logs after reading several responses about contacting the carrier.

Well I received the call logs from the carrier, unfortunately it doesn't reflect the missed calls (which could average in the 90's-100's per day). The missed calls stores in the email folder on my blackberry. I back up the blackberry and have several *.ipd files. The true question is how can I extract the missed calls from the backup files in order to produce a tangible document?

I'm open to any suggestions including 3rd party software to get the job done.

And before I forget, nothing gets saved to my SIM card.

But I can almost guarantee you that the data you extract would not be admissible in court as it could be repudiated.

The fact that I can produce the backup file which can not be altered, and align it with the carrier logs will show the timeline to be a match. I can actually extract the file in the judge's presence in order for the judge to witness the file opening without altercation. Appreciate your advice on the freeware and I will give it a test drive! You were very helpful and more informative than most areas I have searched/visited.

Now the real issue. If your doing this for a judge they can request the logs from ATT.
The call logs on a BES may or may not have the info your looking for.
