Wirelessly posted

Does your radio cut off while your BB is connected to the charger?

Have you tried an OS re-install? Are your services set on? The usual. A full list of what you have tried so far would help.

I did the device wipe, OS reinstall, battery pull (numerous times).

I even resorted to taking it to the tech service people at Verizon.

They told me that the only way to fix it (having tried the above listed fixes) was to replace it.

The Blackberryxxx8217;s donxxx8217;t use satellite service only ground cell towers. As with all radios they are subject to degradation over time or if miss-tuned will have receive issues. Usually the receivers have a minimum receiver sensitivity which is low enough to allow continuous service. If you have tried everything (Replacing the OS) and are sure you are in a good service area; by checking with another phone, replacing it is your only choice unless you can find a service center to repair the BB. Ixxx8217;m not sure anyone does this due to the time and cost. Itxxx8217;s cheaper to just replace it.
