So you can now download porn at lightning speed?

What is the monthly fee for this from Verizon and what is the monthly GB limit before you have to start paying with body parts?

Is that a standalone or is it bundled with a family plan?

Stand alone..

VZW has:

2GB for $30
5GB for $50
8GB for $80

AT&T has:

256MB for $15
3GB for $30
5GB for $50

Both are no contract and month to month and Verizon offers ability to hotspot the iPad where AT&T does not..

Verizon LTE is also in hundreds upon hundreds of more cities..

On a related note, I apparently cannot hotspot on the 2GB plan on Verizon, but I don't really need to as I have that ability on my iPhone. The only advantage would be when I'm in LTE areas of course.

The option went away from the menu as soon as the plan activated...

No luck. I also don't see a way to add international megabytes...

I don't see an option to add international either and I'm sure you know wifi has to be turned off in order to activate the hotspot..

Odd because hotspot works fine on mine.

Well that was weird. Normally Personal Hotspot shows on the main settings screen when the feature is available (like on my iPhones), but it wasn't showing on my iPad. Now when I went into the Network settings menu, it showed up in there and then put itself into the main Settings menu. I guess it just required some coaxing.

This will definitely be nice when I'm in LTE areas.

Now to figure out the international data...
