That's why I am thinking of leaving Blackberry world and go to the Windows world if I can not use the Blackberry 8320 Curve at Starbucks using HotSpots without paying extra for it.
I might as well get a Windows phone like the Kaiser that is coming out at the end of October. Than I only have to pay $19.99 and it already comes with HotSpots.

I am not sure if I am having a lucky mistake but I thought I would mention it to everyone. My wife has the promotional $9.99 h@h plan and I have the new curve without it. I did add the data plan and the email plan for a total of $19.99 a month though. I have noticed that my curve runs on wifi on all hot spots, T Mobile or not, without subscribing to the h@h plan.
In our first month of having both phones and this plan we only used 109 minutes of the 600 and over 1200 minutes of the wifi minutes which are free.We were paying $99 a month for for our regular plan, but with h@h we went down to a $49 600 minute plan, with the additional $9.99 for h@h, and the $19.99 for my data and email plan, we are still saving $20 a month and not coming remotely close using more minutes then the allotted 600 minutes. Seems to me that this entire plan is well worth the money, especially with the Curve.
