Html has been on berries since os 4.5ish... There was a BIS update that allowed it... I have found no difference between this and the berry HTML email

True, HTML came on berries with OS 4.5 BIS Update 2.6 (as far as I remember).

What the app does is - it displays your HTML mails in a different format. While native berry is black text on plain background and no images by default, Empower gives you an option to view those mails in much better way. It can auto download images for you, give you some interesting backgrounds, and sets different font colors depending on your settings. The headers do not cover 40% screen space but are more sleek while showing more info at the same time.. I think, the best way to know it, is by experiencing it..

ash - Whats your OS? If you are on OS 4.5 and above, it would show v3.52. For users on 4.3 or less, the existing version 3.0 is the latest.

Also, are you sure its not picking from cache?
