I just bought the curve and when trying to connect it to my computer it wont stay connected. Windows will do the boo doop noise saying its connected then a couple seconds later it will do it again saying it disconnected. My desktop manager will pop up saying its connected then disconnected and it does that as long as I have the phone plugged in.
Am I doing something wrong? Its really hard to get my phone to sync since the phone disconnects almost instantly. I have tried a few different computers and they all do the same thing.
have you installed Desktop Manager? If not, at least do that as it should install the RIM drivers so when you connect via USB - it should stay conencted and charge your phone.
Yeah, i have it installed. I made sure my phone was not connected during install. It seems that if I plug my phone in and then start desktop manager it works OK. If I start the software then connect my phone it does what I described above.
