Default Bold 9900 - Fekkin brill new....

Please Login to Remove!

On 14th Dec 2010 I posted a very reasonable post stating that I was frustrated with the blackberry's released since the Bold 9000. Bottom line is I was finding the keyboards too small (keyboard on the Bold 9000 being a good size for me).

Anyway, I got flamed by DC/DC (who I still think is an idiot) and a few more.

Original post is here: here

Anyway, I feel totally vindicated as RIM have seen sense and introduced the 9900 which has a width and keyboard similar to the Bold 9000.

All I can say is well done RIM. Fekkin good call. Time to chuck my 9780 on fleabay and order a sim free 9900. Christ I hate the 9780 - gives my large fingers cramp !

DC/DC - you pratt.

The whole argument in the original thread was about whether your post was a rant or not. Just because RIM built a device that now suits your needs doesn't change the argument. I don't understand how you feel vindicated but if you feel better, good for you.

OP, I'm glad you like your new BlackBerry. Dec. 2010 is 8 months ago. That's a long time to hold a grudge. How about you let go and move on.

Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!

LOL!

HAHAHAHAHA!!!! You are just too cute with all of your lovely slang!

I'm glad you like your 9900, and I'm happy that you still think about me every time you touch your, um, device.

The only thing I don't get about your original post in the other thread was that you stated you have big hands, which makes they keypads on other phones too difficult to use, but you go on to say the 9800 is too heavy for your hands? Do you have big weak hands? LOL

All kidding aside, I am glad you found a device that works for you.

The 9900 indeed has the same lovely 9000 keypad, but the same crappy battery life. Total vindication requires a battery that matches the performance of the 9700. Until then, I will stick with my 9700.
