Question Notes, Contacts and Tasks Don't Sync

Please Login to Remove!

I recently upgraded my BB software and also ended up with a new laptop. Since moving over to the new laptop my Email and Calendar are syncing wirelessly without issues but my notes, tasks, and contacts do not.

Note: Before I use to have a wireless sync option under each application (Notes, Tasks, etc.) that had to be set to Yes. Now that option is not there. Also, I'm using BES and a VZ 8830.

Any thoughts on a solution?

You don't state what version of Notes you are using. That process changed in Notes 8. Notes 7 had an option to synch Contacts, tasks & Journal under the Domino Web Access option. It was a manual process. Now in Notes 8 there is a setting under Preferences Contacts to allow you to synch "contacts on the Replicator" automatically every time you replicate. Journal notes is still a manual process in the same Domino Web Access. tab.

Sorry this is the notes section in MS Exchange i.e. Outlook. There are Inbox, calendar, notes, tasks, contacts. My Inbox and Calendar sync fine but my notes, tasks and contacts do not wireless sync.

Sorry if I was not clear.

I am having the exact same issue.

I have version 4.3 of desktop manager, and 4.1.2.25 for the BES server.

These steps cleared it up for me...

Scroll to and select the Settings icon (to select push the trackball in).
Scroll to and select the Options icon.
Scroll to and select Advanced Options.
Scroll to and select Enterprise Activation.
Press and hold the ALT key and type +CNFG.
Scroll to and select "Wireless Sync" field.
Select No, press the Menu key and select Save.
Press and hold the ALT key and type +CNFG.
Scroll to and select "Wireless Sync" field.
Select Yes, press the Menu key and select Save
The Enterprise Activation should start again.

Thanks Richison - i had a user with that issue and when i had her follow those steps the wireless sync option was actually set to no even though we had activated successfully a few times and still had the issue. I had her set it to yes and the sync started again and this time when it completed it corrected the issue.
