Question Micro-SIM Not Detected

Please Login to Remove!

Greetings,

Today when I went to switch my PlayBook from Wi-Fi to 4G I got a "Micro-SIM card not detected" icon when I tapped the Wi-Fi icon in the status bar:

It was working the day before. Any idea what would cause this? How can I fix it? I've already tried restarting.

Thanks,
Shane.

Try popping the SIM out and re-inserting it.

Question Re: Micro-SIM Not Detected

I tried that a few times, but so far no luck.

When I tap the error icon, it takes me to Settings > Security > SIM Card. However, there are no options on the "SIM Card" screen.

Is there anything else I could try?

Thanks,
Shane.

SIM cards do go bad on occasion. It's not common, but it's also not unheard of.
