We are currently working on getting some of our old devices together for RIM to buy back from us, however it appears that the policies have to lifted off the devices before we can send them back... As unfortunate as it is, our old devices no longer work their old providers because the lines have been canceled. So I'm stuck with attempting to put a default policy back on all these devices without any data service on them. Any thoughts on how I should go about this process? If it matters we have BES 4.1.2 with Remote Management consoles installed on both BES admin computers. I also created a test AD/Exchange/BES account for setting up test devices as well. Thanks for the help guys.

RIM buys back devices? how the heck do you arrange that? are you only talking about defective devices, or are you talking about just trading in old devices ?
I was asking what what model device since I send old Nextel and Sprint devices (both regular cell & Blackberry) back to Sprint/Nextel for credit on our corporate account. Even the 7520 fetches $100!
