We are needing to patch our BES server to stay compliant for certain audits we have to do. Another member of the team will be contacting RIM to make sure these patches don't blow anything up in relation to the BES, but I was hoping others out there who have had experience with these can let me know if these patches effect the BES in any way:

Environment: BES v4 for Exchange. No BES patches have been installed yet - it's straight v4.0. WIndows Server 2003.

Exchange 2000 post SP3 update rollup: kb870540

MS05-054 KB905915: Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer

MS06-001 KB912919: Vulnerability in Graphics Rendering Engine Could Allow Remote Code Execution

MS06-002 KB908519: Vulnerability in Embedded Web Fonts Could Allow Remote Code Execution

MS06-003 KB894689: Vulnerability in TNEF Decoding in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Exchange Could Allow Remote Code Execution

Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1

If you have any experience with any of these patches, good or bad, please reply back and let me know.

Would recommend SP3 HF4 as it fixes an issue with the PNG,TIF etc. If going to SP3 would recommend at least HF2 though.
