Default Export user accounts information from BES

Please Login to Remove!

Is there a way to export user information, and the device specific information, from the BES server? We are running 4.1.6.14 and exporting statistics does not include the phone number assigned to the account. I would like to be able to export this also since this is what our cell providers list our accounts with. The phone number column is listed in the BES manager but I don't seem to be able to export the user accounts to include this.

Not saying this is the best way but it's the way I do it.

Search for "QueryExpress", its a standalone SQL query client, use it to connect to your BES SQL and run this query:

Software is here: DownloadLink

Code:
select
DisplayName,
PIN,
PhoneNumber,
IMEI,
ModelName
FROM vUserConfigStats
That will give you the details required, other fields can be added as required.

There is an option to save the results as a CSV file.

If it's not the best way it sure worked perfectly. We're have the BES DB on a sql2005 server so this made your steps even easier. Thank you for the assist.

As nice as DavidAdams' query is, fyi you can do this easily from BBM by exporting the asset data for all users, that's what I do as we usually need tons of info. OK so you have to rip a few columns out of excel but it doesn't require an extra app. But I thnk I will be using the query now......

vUserConfigStats.Id,
PIN,
PhoneNumber,
MsgsPending,
LastContactTime,
HomeNetwork,
IMEI,
AppsVer,
ModelName,
ITPolicyName,
PasswordEnabled,
MsgsForwarded,
MsgsSent,
MsgsExpired,
MsgsFiltered,
MsgsFailed,
LastFwdTime,
LastSentTime,
vUserConfigStats.CreationTime,
GroupName
FROM vUserConfigStats JOIN GroupConfig
ON vUserConfigStats.GroupConfigID = GroupConfig.Id
ORDER BY LastContactTime

Do you want all of that same information + the mailbox server name? Do you just want part of that list?

If you go into Blackberry manager and right click the users name (or highlight multiple names and right click) and choose Export Asset Summary Data instead of Export Statistics it gives you more device info. Try that out. I just import the output into Excel and it looks good.

I am using Excel to directly query the database itself, gives me an easily updated list of users without running the manager, which on my Vista PC means a second PC.
