Post Handheld Software Configuration Tool

Has anybody used the Handheld Software Configuration Tool in BES 4.0 at all? I am thinking it would be a good way to upgrade our handhelds wirelessly to V4.0.

The Handheld Configuration tool is so you can setup predefined configuration and then install them from the server or computer you have the tool installed. It is not for OTA OS upgrades. That isn't possible yet.

it's also a good reporting tool. You can highlight every user and do an export to a comma-delimited (.csv) file. For example, at my company, our Sprint bill comes in a giant bulk the size of a Sears catalog every month. All it says is phone # 123 = $92.00, phone number 456 = $50, etc... I export the handheld list and then can format it better in Excel and pass that onto my accounting department, so they can relate BB phone numbers to user names and then bill the appropriate internal dept...

yeah, you can't upgrade the OS to 4.0 and you can only use it to send out 3rd party apps if you have v.4.0 installed on the BES and the handheld.
