Hi all, been lurking, searching and getting frustrated. I have had the 8900 bout 2 wks, enjoying it but here is the problem. When on the net, or facebook, the phone shuts off.
Is there a setting that I did not set?
Any assistence in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

What is your File Free Memory? If it's too low and you load an App it may shut it down. THis is assuming your battery is not low.

Thks for the quick reply. I have 119.6 mb for applications memory and 1.4 gb for media card. Can you please direct me to the file free memory? Thank you again

Try alt +shift +H that gives you the help menu that has the file free but seeing now that it's an 8900, I can't see it being a memory issue unless you have loaded it with apps. But have you tried a battery pull to clear up memory and close apps you may have left running. Alt +back will give you the app. list. You should only have a half dozen running normally, unless you have some that require to be running all the time.

I actually did the battery pull, just prior to posting. I'll go back to one site and see if I get booted again, and check the running apps.....again, thanks for the tips.
