Hi all - Western Australia beginning next week (12/3) are going to start observing daylight savings. We have a massive user base in Australia with close to 500 users in WA alone. With this time change, how will the device know to update itself with the new time? This has become an urgent request and I'm unable to provide much in the way of answers. I'm not the primary BES Admin but am the support person that works these issues. My understanding of how things are set up is that our policy sets the device time when it is activated. If this is the case, how do we adjust this for only those users affected? Will RIM need to provide a service pack to accomodate this or is there another easier (and faster) solution?

Apparently some companies have taken the crude but effective step of asking all users to switch their timezone to Tokyo until the patch is available. ??

do a search on google for KB906865. You will need to contact microsoft or RIM for the hotifx and install to exchnage and bes servers.
