Hi, I was reading about the the Blackberry Premium Multimedia headset (inear bud with a remote on the cord) on crackberry and everything looks good till I read on somes sites that it requires os.4.6 while others sites says it compatible with 8220 and series 9000 otherwise your losing sound quality.

Anyone tried it with the 83xx curve generation?

Haven't tried the premiuim headsets but as far as I know a pair of headsets is simply a pair of headsets, as long as it fits in the port it shouldn't matter what OS is on the phone.

(but hey I'm not right 100% of the time lol)

It should work. I use my BB Premium headphones on my Bold and my iPhone 3G.

Maybe on the older OS, the media controls on the cord won't work as well?

Just a guess on my part.
