Put the phone in standby mode. Press down and roll the ball in the direction having trouble. Repeat this multiple times, it should remove any debris blocking the movement.

If youve had your curve for more than say... 3 months (for a heavy user) it could be that the trackball has gotten dirty and isnt as responsive as when it was new.

Use this guide for a few tips and tricks on cleaning it.

happen to me 2 times

take off the circle piece around the trackball using your nail or something, take out the ball and put it back, usually fixes the problem

I recommend not using your fingernail.

Find yourself a tiny flat-head screwdriver and lever it out gently.

No other dismantling is required to take out the trackball assembly.

The circle piece would be the silver ring.

Youll find that the white rubber is attatched to the trackball assembly.

cnn.cn is where all the guys seem to buy their spares from

Make sure you choose the right model (8310 etc.) as the shapes and fittings differ slightly between the models.

I'd also recommend you get a screen protector =)

Happy berrying
