* Is there a way to use shortcuts like we have one BB7? it will be nice to go to message and skip the hub all together.

* is there a way to change the profiles in the faster way. going to settings>Notification>>Alerts it quite long travel

* is there a way to wake up the BB by touching any key or you always have to press the power key?

* Is there any way i lock my device with a key combo? or i have to wait for 30 mins to timeout or put in the holster to lock it.

* Any way we can make these icons smaller or even list them name?

So far I love the device. but need to get along with it

Thats Rambo, looks like there are no more universal shortcuts, most of the shortcuts are local and within the app itself. hope something will come up soon in the next versions. wish there is a way to lock the device and change the profile instead of going to settings all the times

Maybe they'll bring shortcuts back with BB 10.2.

Just called BlackBerry support and the rep told me that they are working on adding shortcuts to the new release but couldn't give out the date. But I did say that I wish trackpad was still on this device.

Doesn't this app need to be sideloaded as an Android app since there is no official BB10 version yet? I think I read somewhere that Google will only make an official app for BB10 if they feel there is a strong enough market for it down the road.

That's why I'm stuck at v.4.5.3 on my 9930. They never progressed past that point for BB.

Picked up my Q10 today and ported from Sprint to Verizon. Huzzah!

Learned my first lesson too. I was trying to connect my Q10 to my iMac via BlackBerry Link and it simply would not connect. I was about to restore the Q10 to factory settings and start again (not too painful after only a few hours with it) and decided to try one last thing. I didn't even know if it was in there anymore, but I went into Settings (via the downward swipe from the top bezel - fekking brilliant!) > Storage and Access and found the default setting for USB Connection was "Connect to Windows." I changed it to "Connect to Mac" and it connected immediately. Booyah!!

And I gave up on mine yesterday... Back to the Lumia 920.

Couldn't take the small font in HTML e-mails and the strange inconsistencies in the Calendar syncing (or not syncing) with Exchange ActiveSync. Having a calendar that wasn't updating until I pulled the battery is unacceptable to me.

Wow. Guess there's no way to pinch zoom the emails? I was about to pull the trigger today and get this phone but if those fonts are too small, that can be quite irritating. My contract is about over on the 9930 but really don't know which way to turn. Maybe I'll play around with a demo first in the store but I have an iPhone 5 for work and can't stand it. On screen typing hasn't been too pleasant for me and the overall functionality with email isn't like BB so I'm spinning my wheels here. You really seem to like the Lumia but I'm not too familiar with the WP platform. How hard is it to a) backup the phone and b) upgrade/downgrade OS's?

When you don't know what to do, don't do anything they say so I'll wait it out a bit longer.

You can pinch to zoom e-mails but then you are scrolling back and forth (left/right) as it doesn't scale to find the windows.

Updating it will remind you of the old days - you get what Nokia gives you. But they seem to be on the leading edge and have updated the device quite a few times. I have never "done a backup" as media backs up automatically and the update process handles the apps.

I am really disappointed in the BB10 handling of HTML e-mail fonts.

Actually, everytime I use the p to z feature on the browser or active screen it never lines up with my screen (except for reading mode)

Kind of annoying, I hope they plan on a fix soon.

I see. No type of 'word wrap' so to speak. Yeah...that's annoying. I wonder if the new rumored BB will be the answer supposedly coming this fall. The phablet style BB which would compete with the Samsung Note. Personally, that's too big for me so I guess the question becomes, "Where does the trade off come in?".

No more carrier-based email accounts for BB10 devices. Boo!! I was looking forward to having a verizon.blackberry.net email account. I loved using that carrier account for private conversations since they're not accessible anywhere but on my BlackBerry. Somebody wants to discuss something sensitive and nobody be me (and the NSA) can see the conversation.

They were handy. Ultimately not to useful, and definitely a trap for noobs, but still cool to have.

I am still new with BB q10, kind of frustrated because it doesnt show many apps that I had in old bb torch. It cut out of my lots of apps from bb world apps. But I am really stuck with my love keyboard. I guess I will just keep and accept it. this is probably going to be my last for another two years before I move on with different device. I have been on blackberry for many years. I hope that bb q10 will provide video phone for deaf communication. I know that andriod apps have video phone called Purle 3 (P3).

I still figure out how to port from andriod apps to my bb q10. I tried ddpb software and ip address refused and cant connect. I will try other software called eclipse and sdk. If you know how to port and connect, can you walk me in? many thanks
