Default MobileWeb4U Launches BES4.0

I just wanted everyone to my experience so far.

First, David was nice enough to let me piggy back in the 4.0 beta today. All I can say is, once again David's service and support is 2nd to none!! If you have 4.0, let him know and have him move you to the new server!

I couldn't wait for Cingular to release the 7290 version so I installed the HK version. That transition as well as the upgrade on David's end went relatively smooth considering it was a first crack at both.

I have been up and running for about the 3 hours now and I love it. The attachments work as adverstised as does the browser. For me I am thrilled to be able to finally have a way of adding my 11 month old sons pictures to my BB.

For business purposes, viewing pdf & tif files is huge.

Oh, I almost forgot, the contact and task sync functions work flawlessly and virtually in realtime.

Anyway, I just wanted to let everyone know that things seems to work as they should. Also, if you are leary about making the move, don't worry, you are with the right team here to help you threw it.

Thanks again David.

Mitch

I think you are off-base on this one. Isn't the idea of the forum to share experiences and give out information??

I am sure that you would not respond in such manner if MIG posted that a service provider was terrible - and warned people to stay away. Also, I have seen posts about the positives of Nextel or Cingular, etc. No one has 'flamed' the poster to advise that they contact the provider to pay for an advertisement.... IMHO - bad formon the 'flame'....

BTW - as a heads up I think that David is just trying to serve the BB community. He has proven his worth by posting the following on his board -
Quote:

Site Maintenance In Progress, We will be back soon.

While we are upgrading our services to better support you, our users, we ask that you please check out blackberryforums.com for all your Berry related needs.

-David

The above is just my 2cents - take it or leave it.

I don't have a problem with testimonials that are pro or con. I do have a problem with pumping these damn services on all the different BB forums. It's tiring to read.

Please send me a PM instead about any forum complaints. It's better this way. I can resolve forum trouble when needed. I can verify potential spamming as well.

mas90guru,
Please report suspicious posts directly to me first for verification first. I would like you to refrain from starting a potential flame war - it may be best not to comment on BES4U anymore, but instead send me a direct PM to make sure that violations are not being done. Although forum violations DID happen in the past, the original poster is not confirmed to be someone from BES4U. BES4U just simply might be referring end-users to the forums a little too often. Instead of a public reply to CaptNBlackberry' post -- send him an email instead - or send me a PM instead about any forum complaints.

CaptNBlackberry,
I know you are enthusaic about BES4U as an end user and you would like to defend BES4U, but people are still a little sensitive of excessive enthusiasm. To avoid frustrating the other forum members, please try to refrain from too much defensiveness about BES4U because people are still a little frustrated around here sometimes. In the future, it is best to ignore threads like these, just in case. Instead of a public public reply to mas90guru' post - send him an email instead - or send me a PM instead about any forum complaints.

Past threads like this usually had to be closed, so as a precedent, I may have to close this thread a little bit early -- just to be safe. Hope you all understand.

MIG has not yet replied to my private message, so I am now locking this thread.
