Help! Water damaged phone, red light stays on.
Please Login to Remove!
My blackberry 9630 was water damaged pretty bad. I went home and put the phone in rice for a day, it still didn't turn on. I then left it in my car (in the heat) for a few hours and it turned on and was working.
The only issue was, the keyboard wasn't functioning properly. It would type several letters on screen when I typed any single key.
I opened it up and put isopropyl alcohol on it, upon closing the phone it was not working at all.
When I plug it in, the red light turns on. (and stays on for quite some time) however the phone never turns on.
Any suggestions??

It's dead. Don't waste any more time or money trying to save it. It sucks, but you need to get a new device.

does not sound like you pulled battery when it got wet so plan to get a new phone.
the next time pull the battery right away then the rice may work.

I too dropped my 9320 in water. Dried and booted it No problems in using the phone- it came on, works fine except that the indicator light is constantly green and that is depleting the battery real fast.
Can anyone help fix this problem?
