so, I went buckwild with all the ringtones I wanted and decided that there were a few I didn't really need... so I grab my phone and think for a second and then realize that I don't know how to delete the damn things... anyone elce know?

I could access the ringtones by Vycor "http://www.adamdaley.com/wap"
However I couldn't access any of the ringtones at the "luckyluciano" site.
I get the following ->

"HTTP Error 406 : Not Acceptable

The page you are trying to load is not supported by the browser. Please try loading a diff. page."


Later when I check the details of this error. It says ->
"200: Applicaiton can not accept the content [application/force-download;name="Coldplay - Clocks.adp "]"

Am I doing something stupid ?
Reason being that so many people can download the ringtones from this site.

Here is what I'm doing, correct me if I'm wrong ->
1.) Go to "http://luckyluciano.completelyfreehosting.com/ringtones/upload"
2.) Log-in
3.) click on the download icon.

I tried using the "blackberry browser" instead of the normal browser through my 7100t.
Any pointers welcome !!!!
I'm just waiting to have my hands on the sea of ringtones out there.

You should never have to log in to download files on your blackberry, it looks like your problem is with your link, go to "http://luckyluciano.completelyfreehosting.com/ringtones/", not "http://luckyluciano.completelyfreehosting.com/ringtones/upload" The index file in the ringtones folder automatically forwards you to the blackberry friendly page if you enter the link above. For a direct link to the bb friendly page try going to "http://luckyluciano.completelyfreehosting.com/ringtones/download.php" on your blackberry.

Give that a shot a let me know what happens, send me a pin message if its not working because I'm not always watching this thread.

When you say "open that file", how exactly do you open it? I have some email messages that are only on the Blackberry. I would like to be able to view them else where, but I don't want to forward 2600 messages one by one to another email address. Any ideas?

If I open that file after backing it up, I can see the ringtones. If you're able to extract it from the .ipd file, you may be in luck. Doesn't seem worth the effort tho.
