I have 2 IT people we moved to a new 2010 Exchange Server.

BES 5.0.3 MR3 is reporting this error.

[40720] (12/02 13:16:31.479):{0x2940} MAPI call failed. Error 'The information store could not be opened.', LowLevelError 0, Component 'MAPI 1.0', Context 649

[40205] (12/02 13:16:31.479):{0x2940} MailboxManager::CloseMailboxSession - closing session

[50079] (12/02 13:16:31.619):{0x2940} 1 user(s) failed to initialize

Same BESAdmin account handles all of Asia, Europe, and USA. Everybody else is working fine so far....just these 2 people only.
I double checked Throttling policy and everything is set correctly.
I double checked permissions on these users accounts and all is good.
I double checked permissions on the databases..these are OK.
I double checked CDO 1.2.1 was updated to the same as the other servers.

Reran setting the permission and throttling policy stuff just to be sure.

Moved them to static Agents
Moved their mailboxes to different databases/servers
Deleted the Blackberry Server Profiles in the Registry
Recreated Blackberry Mapi Profile
Restarted Services


I can move a test account and/or create a new account on the same server and database of these users and they activate just fine.

I also ran the IEMSTest.exe against the account

BESAdmin: CDO COM exception: Code = 80040705, WCode = 0505, Code meaning = IDispatch error #1285
Description = The information store could not be opened. [MAPI 1.0 - [MAPI_E_FAILONEPROVIDER(8004011D)]].

Anybody else have any other suggestions?

Also I'm seeing a lot of these in the MAGT logs:

[30428] (12/02 15:04:15.494):{0x3FF8} Testing CASARRAY.DOMAIN.COM health, returned 0x8004011D

Can't find much info on this specific Log Entry Error.
