You don't really have to wipe your handset. And you can leave previous OS' installed on your PC... Desktop Manager will always update you to the latest version anyway.

I found some weird issues with this beta.

#1, voicemail indicator still doesn't work for me (T-Mobile).
#2, it seems like pressing the pearl isn't as "responsive" as it was in previous versions. I now have to make a conscious effort to hold it down that extra split second to make sure it works every time. Anyone else getting this issue?

Otherwise, it feels pretty similar to .46.

Default Running smoothly on my Pearl

So far so good. Haven't had any problems with this particular release. Installed smoothly and all programs are working so far!

Oh jeese just when I thought coo its not reset once in 3 days woohoo. Wamm !
Reset!!!
I was veiwing my pics before with no prob then went back sometime later to veiw a different folder and I hit veiw thumb nails while waiting for all the pics to load on the screen I got the dredded RED light of death. Let it go for bout 3 resets and tried the trick that worked for the previous 4.5 OS's quickly scramble to the web browser and hit the first link you can get the pointer on to load a page. And it was fine stopped reseting was good for a half hour er so and I figured pic should be Ok now right?
Pft don't think so same place same thing tried it 2 more times same thing.
Think maybe a reformat of my MC would help ?

I will have to try this one. I was holding out until it got stable. Looks like this one is ok.

If it is all, it normally states such in the file name, for M for Multiple (which is primarily European languages).

I heard 4.5.0.55 fixes the camera on the Pearl. At least it's something to look forward to.
