Ok we have 2 data centers for our company in the same domain with exchange servers in each location. I have a bes local to each exchange server i already have migrated one to new hardware(Bes1) and it has been up and running for a few months now. I need to upgrade the other old one to 5.0(Bes2) then use the enterprise transporter to move the user accounts to the new db that i created for the first 5.0bes. I hope you can follow...
Well anyway what i was wondering is that both servers are attached to a remote sql db. When i create the 2nd new bes and hook it up to that db do i need to have an instance of BAS running on that one also? Or does the first instance running (Bes1) handle everything? What would be the best way to go?
