The Curve uses a microSD card, which is pretty small (significantly smaller than a regular SD card). The card will fit into the battery compartment, under the battery itself.

Once you've installed the memory card, put the battery back in and turn the phone on. All you need to do is connect the phone to your computer and you can use Desktop Manager to transfer files over. As an alternative, you can turn on the BlackBerry's "Mass Storage Mode" which makes the BlackBerry behave like a USB drive. This way, you don't need to use the Desktop Manager to transfer files. To do this:

1. Go into the phone's Options.
2. Select "Media Card" from the menu.
3. Set the following options:
- Mass Storage Mode Support: On
- Auto Enable Mass Storage Mode When Connected: Yes

copy and paste are good friends to know. once you know what format can be played for videos you can copy and paste onto your card.

With Mass Storage Mode you don't need Desktop Manager. The media card will show up as a removable drive on your PC. Just copy files to the appropriate folder on the media card (they're labeled).

It's exactly the same (copy the file over) if you're using Mass Storage Mode.

Detailed instructions in the BlackBerryFAQ:

How do I add media files to my microSD card? - BlackBerryFAQ

The FAQ answers a lot of questions.

Whoops, I see that was already posted in this thread.
