Although it is rare to charge someone so young as an adult in the United States, the prosecutor in the case says Pennsylvania law left him with little choice.

In the case of homicide, "my choice is either to charge him as an adult, or don't charge him," said John Bongivengo of the Lawrence County District Attorney's Office. "Not charging him at all wasn't feasible."

In any event this guy should not be let to run around with the general public. At one time kids could be hung in the US. This is something people have forgotten but perhaps things have gotten too politicially correct. There are some people that should not be out in society.

If someone disagrees I suggest that you take him in with your family.

It's tough, it does make you feel torn. But he must have understood the impact of what he was doing. I think it's cus he looks so young you don't expect that from him.

It's very sad.

i'm not sure how i feel on the subject. however, i do agree with TBOLT when he says that someone like that should not be out and about in society. if he IS capable of such a henous crime, who knows if he could do it again? it's a sad situation all around, but a crime this violent..
