Please Login to Remove!

Hi all, just noticed that the storms update page over on Verizons site has been updated. Is this truly a new version of the storms OS?

It's a new version, yes. This is only the 20th thread on this in the past 2 days. A search would have answered your question a lot faster.

Thanks guys for answering so fast. Sorry for the repeat question but i did try to use the search but kept receiving an error however i did over look about the post a little ways down from mine... Did this update seem to fix anything or speed up the device?

Here is the change log of 4.7.0.148 posted on BlackberryNews.com:

http://www.blackberryNews.com/2009/05/20/change-log-for-storm-9530-beta-os-470148/

And yes, it fixed a few things from .75 and the device is more responsive.

I tried installing this on 2 storms, The first of which seem to work fine even though i got some warnings i was able to restore a backup with my missing contacts and a couple of apps. However when i tried installing it one the second it seem to have updated since the device OS showed that it had updated but the new phone icon and a few other things which were new to the new OS was not present.. I reinstalled the original OS and tried reinstalling it but then it gave me another option of which OS to load which in one section showed it like version 208 or something but over to the right showed it being 148 if that makes any sence...

Actually it is .203

.203 = .148, seriously... that's good.
