I have a small MicroSD card (64mb). Copied a few of my MP3's on the Music directory on the card, using an external Card Reader on my PC.

I can bring the songs using the media application. But when I click on one of my MP3's, I see the media player flash briefly. Then the BB screen goes blank. And it does a reset.

I can play the demo song that comes with the BB8800 OK.

Tried to search on here, but couldn't find an answer.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Are you sure they're .mp3, at what rate are they encoded and how much available memory do you have on the device? Do the files play without dificulty as .mp3 on desktop if exported from the card?

Consider an application wipe/reinstall.

I bought a new Micro-SD card, and copied the same MP3 files onto it. Now it is working fine. May be some issue with the other card I was using.
