Now I know about the apps that supposedly increases memory and how I can basically do it myself, but what about battery boosters? Do they actually give you any measurably difference? If so, is there one the is recommended more than others? I already try to keep the amount of apps running in the background to a minimum, and turn off my wifi & bluetooth when not using. What I'm looking for is just a way to squeeze a little more life out of the battery if I can. Posted via BlackBerryForums.com Mobile
Not one really in particular. I was just browsing through the app section as I do. I normally just skip over things like that, but decided to give them a second look. I realize that advertising comes into play and all, but still began to wonder about their claims. Posted via BlackBerryForums.com Mobile
From what I am learning with all of these smart phones, the key is things you can do manually. Shut off unused apps and dim backscreen light. Only external thing may be something for your reception if inside

Which is what I do already. I kind of figured that, like those memory apps, I do most of that stuff manually.
I did go ahead and buy Meter Berry though. First, I liked the battery icon I can use on my home screen, plus there's a lot of info available to me about the phone on one page.
I do thank you for the reply though. Posted via BlackBerryForums.com Mobile
Nope, I don't think these apps work they just take up space causing loss in performance. Just another app the OS is forced to deal with but do you want what can increase battery life for real.............buy a higher amph battery for your phone. Most people just dnt spend that extra cash. Posted via BlackBerryForums.com Mobile
