hi,

i have a bb pearl 8130 with option bb, but I can't add a pin, actually i can add it but the contact doesn't receive a request.

When I have a request it works.

what should I do,

If the user in question has PIN blocked in their firewall that would prevent it. Or unsolicited PIN messages. Try adding the PIN to their contact info and "compose PIN" to that contact. They should receive a message from you. Then they just need to add you to messenger.

Actually I have 11 PIN Request pending... So I think the problem comes from me...

OK it works, but why, like all my friends having a bb, i can't add directly a pin. They explain me to go in unique utilisation then press the menu touch then pin request something like that.

But I don't have PIN request in the menu, is it normal?

Go to BB Messenger folder then Hit Menu>add a contact>(Scroll up to "[use once]") hit menu>Request by PIN!

You might also try pulling the battery as well.

So here is the problem, there is no request by PIN. And I already pulling the battery many times.

Did you already add the PIN to your address book contact? If the PIN isn't in your address book, you won't get the Request (PIN) option for that contact.

Sure I have a plan, I can speak with the contacts that dd me.

It works when I add a contact in the adress book with a PIN. But this: "Go to BB Messenger folder then Hit Menu>add a contact>(Scroll up to "[use once]") hit menu>Request by PIN!" doesn't work. There is no Request by PIN in the menu. Promise!

I have this exact same problem: I just got the pearl about a month ago, I recieve pin requests just fine.. but ever since i added my email account to my bb it hasn't had an option available to use a pin to add a bbm contact, it only allows me to use email addresses. has anyone else had this problem and figured it out?
