Default ios 12.0.1 update

Please Login to Remove!

Hi All,

Is anyone else seeing this behaviour?

BB UEM 12.8.1
DEP enrolled iOS devices on 12.0 in a kiosk single app mode (locked to safari only)
We see that the UEM console detects that an update to the new iOS 12.0.1 version shows as available, we can select the Download and Install option for a device, and View Device Actions shows that the OS update command has been completed by device.

However the install of the patch never seems to get kicked off by the device.
Device battery is fully charged, we left it connected to the charger for hours, and have done the 4 second two button force reboot as well, still the update does not seem to get launched.
iOS push from 11.x to 12.0 worked fine

every apple update seems to break something and after a few weeks it is addressed

Might be better off calling BB support. This place is a ghost town.

Should be better you try to find a better solution by dialing to a local call center or to any private company linked to Apple Support Department.

Cost could be the issue. Private companies are usually not free.
