Default no longer receiving email

Please Login to Remove!

Hello. I am using a 7105t via T-Mobile, and recently I am not able to receive new email. I have my phone set up to receive mail from my Gmail account. I have tried sending email, and that works, but for the past few weeks my phone has not been receiving new email messages. Any ideas?

Why would you want to pop gmail?!! Just forward it. Much faster....

That is unless you really care about sending things from you gmail address.....which to me is not worth it....waiting 15 mins to get an email that I could get instantly does not sound good to me....but it's your preference.

Justin - cause w/ BIS 2.1 Gmail is instant - and it reconciles now just like Yahoo; except for marking messages as read/unread

BERDucky, what carrier are you with that's providing BIS 2.1?

I was pleasantly surprised to see this in the BIS 2.1 documentation:

Email Anti-SPAM system
Automatic IP address reputation-based filtering
Very conservative setting intended to avoid false-positive messages
No administrative control required

I haven't seen any of the new icons, however, no matter how many "Register Now" that I do. Maybe I'll pull the battery just to see if that does anything.

Saw that too. Seems very interesting. I think BIS 2.1 (new icons) requires your carrier to implement. Its not automatic. Although is see Gmail is now integrated w/real-time messages like yahoo.com

i'm on Rogerse
haven't got the extra icons either - but i already have Yahoo! and Googletalk installed so that would explain why i don't have those 2

not really worried about it personally from the following article it does look like it's carrier specifict - so if your carreir doesn't want you to get them you won't
