Default Bold activation on BES

Please Login to Remove!

Hi guys,

Quick question. Can I do a switch device from my curve to the bold on my home computer or do i have to do it on my work computer, i.e connected to the LAN? I'm currently on my company's BES with the Curve. And if I can do the switch device, would the bold be activated on the BES. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I would do it when connected to the LAN as then the Bold should reactivate automatically without the need for wireless reactivation. That's how I moved mine over.

Probably not a bad idea, although the DM I had on mine (from an 8800 so would think yours will be a similar version) read and updated the Bold fine.

If you had pre 4.2 device software and plugged in a pearl it wouldnt work.. so as the bold is on 4.6 device software i'd guess you need to up to 4.5 or 4.6 to get it working
