Hey,
Most BB’s turn off and on when put in and taken out of the holster but the Touch doesn’t, is this not a feature with this device?

Yes it does, but only if it is a holster made to work with the blackberry sleep function. There has to be a magnet in the holster that makes it go to sleep when you holster it.

What device are you really asking about? Your post says "Touch". You posted in the 9800 section which has the nickname "Torch" and your profile says you have a 9780 which is a "Bold".

I am confused as others might be.

Please use the model number when asking a question, not the name to avoid any confusion.

I'm using my Torch 9800 with my old Curve 8310 holster, and the sleep function works just fine. Make sure your holster is designed for the Blackberry.

a 9700 holster wont put it too sleep since magnets are not in correct place.

The 9000 holster works fine with the torch

I've got the 8900 holster working fine with my Torch 9800.
