Default Blackberry Flip 8220 Internet Access

Hello

I just got the blackberry 8220 flip unlocked from amazon and have put my vodafone uk sim card in alls well until i try to access the internet. It says i need to connect to a wireless connection.

How can i access the internet without using wifi?

You would need to contact your carrier (Vodafone).

im on pay as you go does this only apply to contract.

I believe so. You may want to check with Vodafone to be sure.

how i change the browser to blackberry browser as currently its only got hotspot browser

well vodafone dont have any information listed on there website about blackberry data plans.

^^^ This FAQ (that I can't even link to o.O) says you can't use the internet at all without a Data plan, however I don't have one and I can browse the web just fine with the Hotspot browser when I'm connected to WiFi.

However, I can't use AIM over WiFi and this really irritates me..

Yes, you can browse over WiFi, however, did you read the OP's original question?
