I've only had my 8900 since Monday, but love it of course. I would not switch to Bold since a good camera is important to me and I do not like my devices too big.

Same here. Couldn't be happier with my decision. Better battery life is a big bonus as well

My only problems with my Javelin so far is
#1 Orientation of the USB socket on the phone. It's right where I grab it to type on it and gets in the way when I'm using the phone and charging it (I prefer the original location)
#2 No more Mini-USB? I loved the idea of being able to walk into almost any office and find a charge cord just in case I didn't have one on me. Now I need to stock my office full of micro-usb cords.

Other than that, the device rocks. I really wish Blackberry would answer my e-mails and letters to let me do product testing for them.

the 8900 is awesome... plus most people when they look at it think it's the bold anyway... no 3G no problem haha
