Default Question for blackberry users.!(Need answer fast)

Please Login to Remove!

Im thinking to buy Blackberry 8900 curve. And i heard that if you want to browse on internet or just use the Blackberry messenger, you have to registrate your blackberry on your carrier to have some data plan or smth. I want to point that im a lithuanian. Myself i use Iphone 3gs and i just order internet data plan from my carrier 1month/500mb(5.00LTL) and im using 3g internet just fine. So is it true you have to registrate blackberry on carrier or you just can unlock BB and just use the plan fine. Sorry for my bad language im from lithuania.

Hope you guys can answer )

This is correct. You must have a BlackBerry specific data plan.

No, without a BlackBerry specific dataplan, you cannot use the Browser, BBM, Facebook, Twitter, Email, etc.
