I had e-wallet, now what?
Please Login to Remove!
For many years I have used e-wallet, now they don't even know if they will develop a version of the software for OS10.
I'm looking into splash id but do not know how to migrate all of my data.
E-wallet does export it into a .txt but splashed does not import .txt
Any ideas? suggestions?
Thank you!

Have you tried the Conversion Utility to convert the format.

Re: I had e-wallet, now what?
I exported to .txt from ewallet, then i opened with excel and saved it as .csv and then imported it with the splashID web base personal edition software, it was a mess.
It actually converted every single field to a "type" and then i ended up with over a thousand types. I mean, for each of my credit cards, it took the numbers and converted each set of credit card numbers to a type, then de expiration dates each was a type and so on.
I deleted my account (it was a beta) because the support at splash id said they could not delete those records.
I guess i'll just hope iliumsoft change their mind and develop something for Z10

Re: I had e-wallet, now what?
Ya, pretty bad. Same issue with Pasword Keeper if you want to use another utility, like Vault, which does a good job and has backup to dropbox, but I had to convert 200 PK entries one at a time to Vault entries.
I would have stayed with PK, but when you do a wipe and restore, you have no choice but to import all data rather than only what you really want, which for me was PK and Word Substitution.
I believe you will have no choice but to convert the entries one by one, but it will be an even longer process for you, since you don't even have the app on the Z10.
Now, if you can convert the txt to a format that is understood by Splash or another product, you could ease the pain. Conversion of popular formats are do-able through Excel, but you may have a lot of trial and error to get there.

Re: I had e-wallet, now what?
Do you use Vault in your Z10 or just the playbook? my problem with password keeper is the lack of a desktop version that can sync with my phone.

Re: I had e-wallet, now what?
Only on my phone, as there's no desktop client for it. I don't have a playbook, but since it backs up to the cloud (dropbox), if there is a client for playbook, you could backup and restore from device to device. You would have to remember which is the most current version. It's crude, but it would work.
