Thumbs down I can't lock my Curve 2 from the left button anymore , the top button locks now

Please Login to Remove!

Since Verizon did an update my ability to lock by using the left button has gone away and moved to the top.
I cant set the right button to lock now.

is there a way I can set the left button back to lock and stop verizon from pushing updates to me.

try Options -> Screen/Keyboard, and set the convenience keys. I assume that is what you mean.

Also, please consider updating your profile to reflect your correct information. If your new device is using OS 5.0.x, you will not be able to change this option.

I do not have a "Lock" option there anymore.

I went to the Verizon store and they said since it on the top it cant be on the side.
I don't believe there has to be a way to set it back on the side.

Your OP indicates that you updated your BlackBerry's OS.

RIM changed the way that the lock function works now with the new OS versions.

Must engage the Password Lock. You can use the "K" key to engage the lock.

Or you can roll the device OS back to the previous version.

Do you have a password on your device, to enable the password lock option?
