Default Major BES Problem - Repost in proper Forum

Please Login to Remove!

We have a BES in our corporate office.. Our power was out for about a day due to Hurricane Gustav. Everything turned back on as planned, Exchange server is up and running, BES Server is up and running, but none of the blackberrys are getting mail. THe users can use Blackberry messenger, and access the internet so it is not a network problem. The BES reports the last communication time with all blackberry's as 9-1-08, right before the power went out.

I have tried restarting services, tried restarting both servers and even tried to delete a user and re-activate his blackberry. The reactivation results in the email message showing up in outlook from RIM, but nothing else happens after that.

What could be causing this?

SRP is connected
server version is: 4.1.5.24

Did you try to delete and resend the service books?

Have you confirmed there are not carrier issues in your area? Device getting a signal?

OP did say something about being able to browse the internet and messenger, so some data is working.

Anything in the application event log on the server?

Well, since the network@ETP message is arriving in the user's inbox during the EA, you've pretty much narrowed down where the issue is (BES side)... assuming the the message has not been modified at ALL and not in any subfolders.
