Xaneth, I will respond, since obviously your comments were, in large part, pointed at me. I was not a moderator at the time I made that post. If you read that thread's original post, again, you will notice that user never asked a question or for help, his post was just what he titled his thread as "Hating my BlackBerry". That poster continued to belittle myself and others throughout the thread (even when I did make suggestions and tips to make it for him) until it finally had to be closed.
I won't defend myself to deep here, this is one those cases where I don't need to. I greet most new users on that Forum, and make it a point to go out of my way to do so and make them feel welcome (many more times over than the few posts where I really questioned the new users intentions).
As far as being right--I don't know, I catch myself pretty often saying to a user here "Oh I was incorrect there", etc., so that doesn't even apply.
Right on. Thanks for replying JSanders. I WAS just trying to get a rise, and get a rise I did. BB rocks for the record, and this forum is the best forum on the subject, for sure. I guess most of my experiences haven't been too great so far, and when I see stuff like that, it's a little disappointing. You're right though, I read the posts more closely, and things were pretty pointed.
It is worthy to note that at the time of those posts JSanders was not a BBF Moderator, only an informative, helpful, BBFAQ contributor and member of this forum. So, really, you are entering that conversation late and making assumptions that are incorrect.
Edit: Dang! I took way too long typing this short post. JS already said most of this but I'll leave it for posterity!
