Hi, ive had my 8900 for quite a while now, i've changed the trackball twice and still it moves but it doesn't respond? ive tried downgrading the firmware and upgrading the firmware and that just doesn't work.. Any suggestions anyone?

I have never encountered that problem myself, but I have had problems with a dusty trackball. If that's the problem, just put some alcohol on a q-tip and wipe across the trackball a couple of times and see if that works. It may just be that it's dusty down there ;)

as i've said though, ive changed the trackball twice but when i take out the trackball, the part that the ball moves on, the board it doesn't look normal :L

never mind i rubbed alcohol on the trackball and the trackball circuit board and now it works perfectly thanks for your help xlavinho
