e-Mobile Today is prettier, but is a poor application. PocketDay is very customizable, while e-Mobile isn't.
You can get a free trial of PocketDay, but e-Mobile makes you pay before you can try (although they do often refunds).
CRS, the PocketDay folks, respond quickly to comments and questions and, in my experience, come out with new versions and bug fixes on a reasonable basis. The e-Mobile folks take the 'it is what it is...." attitude.
There's a rumor that there will be a "pro" version of e-Mobile coming out.
I don't work for either company. However I'm a PD user. And, while it's not perfect, it's the app I most use and rely on.
I dont think your assumption is correct. They are not the same.
Pocket Day Pro is a very powerful, user customizable app where the other is not.
EMobile lacks many features and does not offer much in the way of custom settings.
I have been using PD for years and couldn't leave home without it. Haven't found a better alternative yet.
I have used Pocket Day for a long time, very satisfied and their customer service is outstanding!
I've been using it for just over a year. I'd be lost without it, and I agree on the customer service. When ever I've had a question, it's been answered very quickly.
I do not have a data plan, so weather, sports, and other external info is not critical to me.
But, as a Today-type screen app PD is excellent: It presents a summary of all critical Task, Event, Text, etc. info in a single screen. Very handy and useful.
