HI EVERYONE

first off let me say thank you to everyone who posts on here, i've learned alot!

on that note - unfortunately i couldn't find what i'm loooking for

i have a
black berry pearl flip 8220 tmobile
no plans on it (ie inactive phone)

problem
can't seem to browse the web via wifi

i know i'm connected to wifi,

when i open WAP or the Browser it says (after i type something into the search box)

"you are not currently in an area that can handle data communication. as a result, the browser cannot retrieve any web pages"

any advice would be greatly apprecciated

Without a BlackBerry Data Plan, you will not have the proper Service Books on your phone to use WiFi.
