Must be refering to the users that responded to me instead of the original poster?

Tool

A person, typically male, who says or does things that cause you to give them a 'what-are-you-even-doing-here' look. The 'what-are-you-even-doing-here' look is classified by a glare in the tool's direction and is usually accompanied by muttering of how big of a tool they are. The tool is usually someone who is unwelcome but no one has the balls to tell them to get lost. The tool is alwasys making comments that are out-of-place, out-of-line or just plain stupid. The tool is always trying too hard to fit in, and because of this, never will.

According to your logic, I suppose it is. We are now stuck in a circle it would appear.

Nope. You are welcome to post your opinion as well. But just like you did to us, we are welcome to remind you that your opinion is crap.

Why doesn't this surprise me?

Wow. Testy thread!

I have looked at most of the smartphones. I use an 8330 because that's what I can get on my carrier reasonably - despite the fact that it is late 2009, there are places where I can't get signal from anyone but Alltel/Verizon. I know. Poor me.

Anyway, the only reasonable answer to your question is to see if you can't get your hands on a unit and try it. iPhones are cool, so are Pres. I kind of wish I had a Pre since it's my understanding they can run old Palm apps, and compared to Palm there is a huge lack of math apps for BB like high level calculators, which I use daily (I am an engineer, and use solvers on a daily basis). At the moment I carry my BB AND a Palm Tungsten IIe, and I wish I could just carry one or the other.

Now, if the iPhone had apps available like that, AND handled email like the BB, AND I could get it on my carrier so I could, you know, use it as a phone, I'd be all over it.

wow... so how about that palm pre??

to the OP: you should head to a sprint store to test the phone out.. get whatever is best for you. also, take into consideration coverage where you live and travel to....

as for everyone else in here, you have a right to your own opinion. so does everyone else. but when you start slaying others or calling their opinion crap, you are taking from them a civil liberty.... freedom of speech!!! so thats not cool...... (hey, all those years in history class studying the government finally paid off!!! lol)

Here's a post that I made yesterday in another thread.

In Nassau County and NYC, Sprint works comparably to Verizon, but not out east. I was getting the unlimited everything family plan for $97+taxes with my corporate discount and it kills me to go back to paying $140+.

So to the Pre: It's small, looks great, and is actually pretty easy to type on (i'm 6' 1'' with decent size hands). I had my Outlook Exchange Email working and although not as easy to operate as a trackball (you can't highlight multiple emails for deletion), the touchscreen had zero lag and worked flawlessly. Things I didn't like, no apps, no sound profiles, copy/paste fuction is terrible. Also, I just got the feeling that the hinge which allowed the device to open was going to go at any point. Oh yeah, battery is beyond laughable despite what other say about ways to retain power. My wife didn't like the phone at all, it looked nice to her but she felt that you had to be fragile with it, which I concur...my 8830 is as solid as a brick.

I'm patiently waiting for Storm 2...my phone journey continues.

I have been biting my tongue for the past few days because I assume this was written with heavy doses of sarcasm... right?

Wrong. So, I'm guessing you got a C- in history class?
