I am in the process of removing my current DR BES and reinstalling with a new SRP to be used as a live server.
Is the process of removing BES as simple as just removing from Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs or are there any other steps involved?

There is a little more to it than that.Just search BlackBerry Technical Solution Center for "clean uninstall", minus the quotes. You will find a KB that shows you some reg keys to remove and some directories to check.

It's fairly easy and quick to do.
