How can I setup my B-Bold to automatically lock the key pad after a set duration?

Thanks.

Try Options / Password - That should get you to the screen to set a password and time period.

I use one of my convenince keys to lock the keypad. I don't think you can set a timer for it.

Posted at the same time. I guess you can if you use a password. But I don't like to do that so all I have to do to unlock the keypad is star talk.

Just tried. I don't think there is a time delay lock as suggested by 'littleman'. I don't like to use the password each time. I am surprised there is no timer lock without using a password.

If you have dial from home screen turned on you can press and hold A to lock your device.

I didn't say there was a time delay. With password protection that's locks the whole phone there might be.

I use a third party app - TinyLock... AutoLock does the same thing... configurable to lock after certain delay from last use/screen blackout... install it, set it and forget it.

...and also AutoStandBy. Includes option to disable if on AC, connected to PC, and a few other options.

Thanks, Caspan. I never knew about the Hold "a" down to lock the phone. Much easier than scrolling to find the lock icon.
